Positron Marine and Vessel EPower Systems

Positron's marine and electrical propulsion systems R&D division is working on an all electric power management  based on the Positron P10 platform. Currently in early prototypical stage, a first outboard version is expected to make its maiden voyage in the spring of 2027.


POSITRON MAGNETICS MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC DRIVE TECHNOLOGY


Positron Magnetics has developed a unique new and innovative magnetohydrodynamic drive or MHD accelerator which is a method for propelling vessels using only electricity and magnetic fields with no moving parts.


Because of these new methods of propulsion, naval architects could potentially exploit an entire new aesthetic to the design of future marine vessels. Below are just a few depictions of the fleet of the future.
